Get non-coin base Sylvania 6SN7GTA or GTB with 'chrome tops', shiney black plates mounted on an angle & the clear micas. Good tubes that produce neutral (uncolored) sonics at reasonable prices. I believe the clear mica were produced to 1955-56 era.
