Thanks for your detailed and comprehensive reply. I have totally zero knowledge on NOS and there seems to be a lot of fake NOS floating around. Therefore I want to read all I could from AA before sinking my hard earn cash into those NOS. In the meantime, I just purchased few cheap New Sovtek 12AX7LPS for my phono and the improvement seems incredible. I get better high, tighter bass, more fluid mid, etc...etc...Will buy some for my line stage...will keep you posted after my tube rolling experience. Cheers...
