This mono amp sounds one hell of a lot like the "Swedish Navy Amplifiers owned by the guy that played sax on.... yada yada yada." that were listed on A-gon awhile ago with the ludicrous $80K price w/$250 for an audition... I LOVED that part.... sor Looks like possibly UTC iron, maybe Freed... maybe not. Likely a LOUD, not very detailed, "gauze-tone" amp like some of those theater amps w/ 12 xformers in the signal path. Probably a great subwoofer amp, though. I doubt the reserve is even 2.5% of the cost of "Bozo the Audiogon Clown"'s price! Still, might be some damn nice iron.
