I just bought a bunch of these to try in my Luxman 2003 Crossover. They have the diamonds in the base, so I guess they are the real thing. All tested max. They don't sound distorted, but they are a bit on the analytic or lean side. Extremely clean but light on the midrange and bass.
I wound up using a telefunken for the input/distribution tube and GE five star 5963's (warm and full sounding) for the divider cirtuits, and the synergy worked out very well.
