couple issues- first, genuine? LOTS of fakes out there now. Assuming they are, how do they test? If they're good, it may be a synergy issue. Have a preamp that takes 12au7s, and if I put Tele's in it with no Tele's in the power amp, it doesn't sound as good. With Tele's in both, sounds very good. Some tubes shine in some equipment, systems, etc. and may not in others.If you post info about what you're using them in and your system, others may have input.
