Mang,Boy, this subject has been bantied about for years. Very subjective. Your ears, the consistency of tone, lifetime of tube, plus the design of the unit will all play a role in which 12AU7 & 12AX7 generates the most satisfaction.
Be ready for every known 12AU7 AND 12AX7 type touted as the "best."
