You could try a small cap for the 1st position under a 1uf. I do not know what that does for the ripple but I prefer choke inputs or very small caps in 1st position. This also allows for changing the B+ with the cap. In your case that will be between 410v and 520v. I do not know what the plate dis is now. Or how easy it is to adjust the bias. But you my like the B+ higher, maybe different idle current, you never know???It never ends that what is so fun about it. If you can avoid resistors, I would do that for sure. If you really want to get carried away get some lundall interstage transformers. Use them for spilting and coupling and you get rid of lots of caps and resistors. That really opens up the sound. Those Cary's will be singing like Etta James!!!
Enjoy Tom
