Hi,Not sure what the synergy maybe with your player but if a tube sounds the same in whatever component it is placed in I can say that the Mullard NOS 66320's available from partsconnexion.com for 159.95 per matched pair gives a harmonicly rich, dynamic well balanced sound right out of the box. For a cheeper thrill the NOS 64564 for $25 give a touch less harmonics with great balance in my Art Audio PX25 power amps which drives the PX25.
