Thanks for the post Bambi - I've been trying to tell people that the LPS is a terrific tube, but since it's cheap and readily available it lacks the snob appeal that clearly affects people's tube choices (yes, mine too every once in a while)...I use the LPS in my Citation preamp rebuilds, and it does a wonderful job. VERY quiet too, I agree!
