I have an S3000 III with the factory block off plate for the multiplex adaptor and would like to know if anyone might have a schematic for this particular variant (I know there are many). On the octal socket where the add-in unit connects, is there a pin that might carry the pre de-emphasis signal that I could use to drive an external multiplexor? There is no typical RCA jack for MPX out on this model. I have both the Sherwood S3MX and an EICO MX99. I've read elsewhere the Sherwood is likely to perform better. Of course, if anyone has a built-in MPX unit for the S3000 III they are willing to part with, that would be ideal! I'm sure those are pretty scarce these days!
