Hello Terry,usually the datasheets DO contain this information.
It is stated as 'mu-factor - grid no. 1 to grid no. 2', mu(g1-g2) or similar.
If triode-strapped, the pentode or beam power valve will behave like a triode with the gm and the mu(g1-g2) of the pentode.
Some datasheets even contain diagrams showing the dependency of gm and mu(g1-g2) on operating conditions.
The Barkhausen-equation applies as a matter of cause:
rp=mu(g1-g2)/gm
