Thanks for the reply Russ. I am completely surprised by this little amp. I'm currently modifying an old Magnavox cabinet to include a Dual 1237 TT and an active Pre-amp (since my console has a passive one). I think the stock speakers are okay and the amp... a great bargain if you find one on eBay for less than $50.00. I'd put it up against my Dynaco SCA-35 or my Heathkit AA-151 with the heavy iron output trannies and 6BQ5 PP compliment. Again, great bargain. But I hoped that I somehow could squeeze more out of the 6V6's.
