I will say the svetlanas are a good tube.Ill tell you one i definitely like better tho and is very similar to the mullard in construction and thats the e34ls which is groove tubes design but made in the jj plant. Now they make an e34L and thats jjs design. You want the E34ls and that is groove tubes tooling in the jjplant.I sell a lot of vintage tubes on ebay now you can see under my ebay name merccougar89 which is same as here.I would love to tell you that the vintage genelex tubes and rca 6550s are way better than the new ones made but i cant in all honesty.I use tubes on my martin logan electrostatic speakers which reveal everytihng and thats why im selling my mullards and genelex each week. There isnt a viable difference as people think. The e34ls im talking about also has a smooth gray plate just as the mulards do.Try them you wont be sorry.I dont sell the newer tubes even but im just an honest person.I bought mine on ebay from a guy called thenidge.Hes still there and usually they are about 38 to 40 a matched quad of the e34ls.I got mine there almost a year ago and they are just fantastic in my modded mark3s.I also use them in my mac 60s at times. If you want to email me you can at amiejocpa@hotmail.com which is my ebay name.
