It's difficult to say whithout knowing what you'll be trying them in. In general I like these older US made tubes very much. I really like the Tung Sol's in my Jolida 302 and am currently trying a pair of 50's Raytheon black plate's that sound nice so far. They are smooth, neutral with a nice midrange and no harshness. I think there is quite a bit of info on most of these tubes if you do a search and I'm sure that there are others out there that would be willing to give a more detailed answer
