Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
Howdy Y'all!I have a pair of Cunningham CX 345 tubes. Are these a "drop in" replacement for the 45 tubes that people are using in some SET amps nowadays. (korneff in particular) I mention that amp, as I am thinking of buying one, so I don't want to sell off too many of my 45's before I have a chance to test them all out. But I have quite a few and can't really afford to hold onto them all. However, I'm well aware that high price doesn't necessarily mean great sound. So...Are these Cunningham tubes keepers?
Also....does anyone know the correct tester settings for a TV-7? Are they the same as the 45?
Thanks for any and all help you can offer!
