Thanks Rodney for the appreciation. Basically it's similar in starting up except what parameters to judge the end of reformation. In my case, I measured the ESR before/after reforming and also monitor the input ac current such that the rated value is not exceeded, without actually caring too much on capacitor current.(measurement of capacitor voltages against spec values is a lot easier,for a few section caps, they had similar readings with no tubes) I also noted whether the caps were too warm.The most important thing is not to overload the vintage power transformer and get it burnt during the start up, due to faulty cap. The rest, even cap explosion is repairable/replaceable.
