Silver,I attempted to discover which speakers were used for the original design & assessment of the Ongaku, and which speakers were favoured/recommended/ acknowledged as a great match.
...Perhaps not surprisingly, I was informed that Mr Kondo used his own speakers in the design of his amp and his new speakers were presently the best partner - period. Translation via his engineer made it difficult for me to press the point.
Experience confirms there always exist a handful of magical combinations between a particular amp and speakers across various price ranges.
