Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
I'm wanting to do some comparison's between a couple 12AX7/5751 tubes and want to be able to change out the tubes rather quickly as I A/B them. I plan to do some listening with one tube then quickly disconnect the power chord, wait for the tubes to slightly cool, remove the tubes and quickly replace them with the others. Any danger of electrocution or anything like that?So far it's been a "heated" battle (or heated "bottle", heh, sorry) between the Amperex 12AX7's and the Sylvania 5751 black plates. I'll post a summary.
Thanks
