Finally I opened the bottom of my inexpensive Chinese made tube amp and found nothing there for adjusting bias. What should I do ? It uses 12AU7 and 2 X EL-84 on each channel. Should I expect to see a semi-fixed or variable resister for each EL-84 ? I saw nothing !If the bias happens to be not optimal (probably yes), will anything gets damaged ? Should I invest in Mullard tubes on such an amp ?
