Its very easy for a novice, like myself, to build. It was my first kit. Step by step instructions w/pictorials of how to lay out the wiring. Good soldering skills and carefully following the instructions is all that is needed. I know there are alot of nice preamp kits out there, choosing one isnt easy, I dont think any of them are offered for home auditions. But I feel I definately got more than my monies worth. I am running 5692's in it, sounds great with the Solen, MIT and Kimber Caps that came with it. Though I most likely put in some oil caps.
