A rather large amateur radio club in my area, is having their semi-annual sale and auction this week. Are these type of affairs something that might be beneficial in the (what's starting to be) never ending tube hunt?
Any warnings, so that a tube rookie doesn't end up taking it in the shorts? I'd hate to leave the auction walking bowlegged, and unable to sit down.
BTW, As protection, I did plan on bringing a copy of Joe's Tube Lore with me, if this sale seems to be a viable source.
