I am thinking of taking my first plunge into tubes and have identified these two amps as quality performers that fit my budget (under $2000 new, street price). Can anyone offer an opinion on these 2 guys or suggest any alternatives?
The intended application is to drive a pair of Dunlavy SC-IIIs in biamped mode, with the tube amp handling the mids/highs and 2 channels of an ATI 1505 home theater amp covering the bass.
