Hi jack,Well, welcome okay. For the Money and MY TASTE these Speakers do not suit as well as a more sensitive Version of something in the Wilson Style would....
At the moment I'm looking at two options....
A Lowther DX4 in a 150Hz Fronthorn with a pair of active 2 X 10" Subwoofers and with a suitable Supertweeter (Fostex Most likely) above 15kHz
OR
A DIY knock off of the Galante Buckingham made from my favourite Material, a Hardwoodply - MDF - Polystyren Foam - MDF - Hardboard Sandwich and probably with a Beyma 15KX Driver (www.beyma.com) or maybe the 15" Eminence Coax....
Or something like that anyway. Something along the lines (size) of the Tannoy Churchill may also be an option, in this case with the top of the Line Beyma Coax Driver....
That is unless I can find a pair of mint monitor golds (dream on) at an affordable price (take the sleeping pill now)....
Later Thorsten
