Siemens Ba clear glass ( open plate construction ) is my personal favorit .
Plate impedance makes it very hard to use with platechoke , best results obtainable in Mu-stage configuration IMO . see attachment for details .Ba is very prone to filament hum and microphonics , best to use batterie and current source at the filaments to keep hum acceptable .
