Hello all. Numerous times I have posted whether x amp is good or will y work with x. This is it for once and for all I am going to try and with your help decide which amp to go with. I am particularly looking for something uder a grand but I dont mind spending over like to $1299. Is there an amp I really cant go wrong with? I thought about getting one of the Antique Sound Lab stuff but I couldnt figure which one to get. I also heard about the Sophia Electric baby amp that enjoy the music has a rave review about. Problem with that amp is that I cant find the Russian military 6p1t anywhere on the net!!! Then I looked at Bottleheads paramour and paraglow but their 4-6 week delivery time will kill me. Then I looked at Welborne labs DRD series but then I had the problem of deciding on which tube to use 300b? 2a3? maybe 45? Can anyone give me suggestions?
