If you've only listened to two 12AU7s, the silver plate Siemens and RFT, you've got MANY, MANY more flavors of direct 12AU7 subs yet to try. You can keep yourself occupied for a long time just with the 12AU7 family. The 5751 is not a classified as a direct sub for a 12AU7 sub. You may want to stick with the 12AU7/ECC82 family first...- SJ
