Yes.

I believe a VT follows the life predicitions of most other electronic components. Lower temp by 10C and double the life.

Likewise, filament v. is also critical (note that most 6.3 v filament transformers are built w/110 or 115V primaries... with 125v not being uncommon, you can markedly reduce lifetime.
