Don't know diddly about extending tube life. Frankly, I didn't really buy them for that. I bought them to reduce microphonics. I have them on the 6SN7, 6SL7 and both 5U4's in each of my Manley Monoblocks and they made an immediate difference (for me) YMMV.Unfortunately they don't make them for 300B's (and I would need 4) so I am loking into using the Herbies "Halo's" for the 300b's.
In any case.....my experience, as well as other people's is that they are a (relatively) cheap and efective tweak. Let us know if you go with them and what the results are...
