Coblio,Same idle bias, up to 550 VDC B+. The GEC/MOV KT-88 were made to take 700+ VDC max. The 6550 shouldn't be pushed much above 550 VDC.
Some later made "KT-88" are really 6550 guts in that "sexy" coke bottle, so these should not be put into amps pushing 600+ VDC onto their plates.
I think that the TungSol 6550 bottles are kinda neat looking.
