The circular top plate I am refering to is part of the internal structure of the tube that appears to hold all the pieces together. The anomily I ment to refer to in the first post is a small area that glows blue. It is about the size of a match head. It appears outside, but immediatlly next to the circular metal plate and the glass envelope. An upright support connects to this circular plate right where the glow is present. There are a number of these connection points throught the metal plate on each tube, but only one area in one of the tubes of the quad has this problem. Thanks for reading and responding to my post
