I reread your post an realized you don't have any 7199's. I don't know your level of expectation but the newer 7199's are the reason I upgraded. I was originall running RCA's and after they went I was dissapointed in the newer tubes. So much so I decided to upgrade to a board with a tube I can live with. Ask around on this but that was my finding.
