I would not have thought it possible but I have been listening to some Tung-Sol 6550's and to my ear they are starting to sound a lot more mellow as time goes by. Is it possible that these valves are going through a burn in period after all this time. They would have to be over 25 years old and have been sitting idle for many years so I suppose it is not out of the question to think that it is possible fo valves to go through multiple burn ins over the years.What do you all think on this subject or is it as simple as my ears are getting used to listening to them.
