Hi BambiHeh - you have to resist that temptation for new 'better' gear, but those bloody lovely Electronlov amps are something to behold!
Thanks for the tip, I'll give Watford valves a call soon. I think I will trust Mr Johnson, clearly an audio genius, and try the valves the amp was designed around, I also want to try Amperex/Phillips just to see what the fuss is all about :)
