These tubes are fat around the midrange."That's EXACTLY how I found them (tubby and bloated in the mids, rolled off on top)! Maybe in some gear it's different, but I'm more and more of the opinion that the fat mids are what some folks expect (demand?) from tube gear. For them this tube would be heaven!
I hope they get better with time for you, the ones I tried never did.
