Hello ... I have an AES PH-1 which I have been using 2 x ECC35 Mullard and 1 - 12au7 ... and today, I just replaced ECC35 with tested as new 5691 RCA red base ... then I had to turn the volume a bit up more ... why ?
Should they have the same gain ? I thouhgt 5691 were exactly replacement for 6SL7 ... Is this normal ?
