Hi Mitch:

I fell for the Thor musicality long before I became a dealer in Atlanta.
I had owned the finest of Levinson, ARC, CJ, BAT, Lamm, Rowland, and Spectral. I have recently compared the ML Ref 32 Preamp($15,000) to the Thor TA-1000($7495); Thor came out on top without hesitation. The Thor preamps, amps, and DAC are just the most musical gear available. Relative to equipment from the other manufacturers mentioned the Thor electronics are indeed fairly priced. Whether one can and should spend the $ is a personal matter, of course. I've taken a long train ride through Highendsville and the Thor station is where I'm staying. Why? I love music and, for now, Thor sounds as real as our current electronic expertise can take us. Quite a credit to an extremely talented designer and as fine a person/manufacturer as one would want to know: Paul Marks proudly of Thor Audio.
