The stock 834P with 12AX7s have a gain of 48dB (68dB for MC). Do you find a significant reduction in gain after substituting the 5751s? I have Brimar CV4004s in mine but I am thinking of getting some 5751s. However, I am running mine directly into a power amp and I need the full gain.
