Hi KP,The difference in the temperature of the chassis sides is due to a pair of power resistors mouunted to the chassis top in that location. Nothing wrong, it's quite normal. And yes, you should have WE 300B's, as that's what the amps are shipped with from the factory. The blue glow is nothing to worry about. The WE's should be runnin' for many, many moons, as at 60 mA's, they're hardly breaking a sweat. Just check the bias regularly (monthly or so), and you're good to go.
