Thanks for your thoughtful recomendations!I guess I need to talk with the Doc and see what he thinks will drive my speakers. They seem pretty efficient but it's hard to say driving them with 8 El34s a channel like I am now.
How about the used market? Is there used SET amps that may be say under $1500.00 that might put out a little more juice, say 12-15 watts? Are the kit's mentioned better, the same or lower quality than say a Cary?
