What kind of sound are you after? CJ's do tend to offer that "classic" tube sound. Warm, soft, a little rolled off. The BAT's are great units, a little more accurate -- not clinical, but tending more towards accuracy than warmth. Also check out the Sonic Frontiers SFL-1 Signature, they can be had for about the same as the CJ unit you mentioned. Lots of choices out there. Depends on what sound your after and what you want to spend.
