Well thank you Tim for such a thoughtful response. I tend to agree with with your analysis of synergy and really feel strongly about people building systems to what they value in music not from specs or price. In the end isn't it about pleasing your own ears? I must admit when someone else comments on how great your system sounds it feels like an accomplishment, but that shouldn't be the only reason that you've built it. Sometimes you just can't explain why some matches work. Sometimes the factors are visually there and sometimes only can they be heard; and that's what makes it a challenge and a hobby. I wouldn't have it any other way though.Thanks for your support and comments. I have gotten many responses and a lot of very good advice from many people here. I am very happy with all of the comments even when it gets ugly LOL! :_)
PS With your view on the subject I am sure you'll have awesome audio system that you enjoy and that embodies what you cherish in your music. Nate
