I currently have a stereo system I use for listening to music, which includes Vandersteen model 2ce signature speakers. I am looking to upgrade my 5.1 system (currently crappy bose speakers) to allow for some music listening on my TV/DVD setup. I am leaning towards getting an Energy Encore 5.1 system, I dont have a lot of room for big speakers where the television is sitting.
How will the energy encores compare to the Vandersteen 2ce signatures? How will the Energy Encores compare to the Bose model 6 series 2 setup I have now? Is there a better speaker system (5.1) at around $1000?
