Velodyne F1200 PS caps

137.131.192.76

Help! I'm a newbie who needs assistance identifying the power supply caps in my Velodyne F1200.

Someone recently posted that they improved the performance of their Velodyne F1500R by doubling the capacitor bank on the power supply. I'm thinking of trying this, but don't know exactly which caps to replace.

On the main PCB there are two 4700 uF/50V caps (C18, C19) closely associated with the transformer, and I'm guessing these would qualify for this mod. However, there are also three other 50V caps (100 uF (C8); 10 uF (C14); 4.7 uF (C11)) on this board.....might these also be appropriate for changing?

There are also 5 other caps rated at 16V.....with the lower voltage rating I'm assuming they're not PS related. Yes?

I'd appreciate direction from anyone who's familiar with this sub...either WRT this type of mod or others that have proven useful. Thanks alot!
