Picked up a pair of the argon 2's in cherry.Driven by an audiomat prelude with pentagon cd player as the source in a 22x22 room.
They combine musicality and detail without being etched.
The recent soundstage review seems to right on how they perform.The imaging is solid.
I wasn't sure what to expect with the metal tweeter but to my surprise it is pretty sweet.Bass is taught and defined.The speakers are quick.Very good low level detail.
I need to break in for about a 100 hrs.
I just wanted to share my initial impressions.
For the price they appear to be an excellent value.
