I have Spendor 3/5s and and highs are respectable. Low bass is missing, but what do you expect from a box that size? By the way, it's not "Do they produce 20 kHz?" but "How many db down at 20 kHz are they?" Different question. Subjectively, I would say the spendors may be down a db or so at 20 kHz. Really nice QUALITY of sound in mids and highs though, especially from such a little box.
