I am one of the few posters that have been through the upgrade labyrinth. I would suggest you post where you live, city, so that inmates can suggest a "good" dealer with an audition policy. I am not familiar with your speakers but I have found with my speakers that there is a considerable taming of high frequency when switching from s.s. to tube amp and pre-amp. My son has a Denon rec. and it sounds lackluster, to be kind, on my speakers compaired to a 14 year old mosfet s.s. amp and my favorite 60 watt tube amps. Internet talk is just that..talk. Use your ears and and try borrowing a good s.s. and tube integrated for a weekend and see if it is the front end or the speakers. You will be suprised ! IMHO.Bill
