I have listened to the Vienna Acoustic Beethovens and really fond them unlistenable. There was just too much bass and almost non-exsistant midrange. After those, we then Listened to the Linn Ninka's (I hope I remembered the name correctly). They were much more balanced, but still a little thumpy on the bass. Both of the above would be great for HT. HT is not as demanding as misic.
