Re: Vandersteen 3A sig worth the extra $ over 2 ce sig?

Ditto what Mark said. I have 2ce signatures in a 13.5'x15.5'x7' plenty of low-end slam and volume to spare. Hell if I crank my AI preamp dual attenuators past 11AM, the sound is simply ear splitting.

You need to mate the 2ce signatures with a high current ss amp to get the best out of the low end. An Odyssey stratos, McCormack 125, Belles 150A hot rod, or even better a modified McCormack DNA 1 or Belles 350A really bring out the low end nicely. I chose the Odyssey stratos.
