The spec's on a speaker aren't any way to judge whether they are good or whether you'll like them. You have to HEAR them to do that. Is there any place where you can go and listen to them? Maybe even compare them side by side to other reliable entry level speakers from PSB, Paradigm, Mirage etc...I did a Google search on "Fluance speakers," finding a few sites with prices. I would be skeptical of ANY 3-way 4 driver speaker on sale for $269 USD! And IMO many others here would be too.
If you do a search on them in the speaker archives here, you won't find much info. You won't find a review of them here either http://www.skimaire.net/m/audio/fsm938.htm and that is odd because tons of other speakers are there.
I'd be cautious, rickydstp. Maybe go to a reputable dealer and have a listen to some of their models.
