Pricing question re. discontinued Paradigm Active/40s

Is there a general principle regarding the direction the price should go on discontinued speakers? These Paradigms (I have 2 pair--one in the unopened box) are and have always been benchmark speakers for their price-range. Any opinions on this? Should I hold them and wait or sell now?
